I haven’t been great about regularly posting images but I felt like I needed to get this one out there. I’m just starting to get into weddings a bit and am second shooting for wedding photographer (check her out on facebook) tomorrow at this amazing location in Saugerties, NY. We both attended the rehearsal today and decided to scope out the location a bit beforehand. Below is my favorite from the day – a wide angle image I shot of the St. Mary of the Snow church, which is over 175 years old. I’m not sure if it was recently painted or not, but the blue and white was so incredibly vibrant that I felt like I could spend the entire day just shooting the front of the building (thought the inside was also just as beautiful). I’ll plan to throw some images from the actual ceremony up in the coming weeks but felt like this simple shot should get it’s own space. Shot at 16mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/4000th.
